20th March 2010. High Knott

This is just a small selection of photos from a day out on Saturday 20th March. it was the day of the Wainwright Society's AGM and as usual there was a short pre-meeting walk planned to the top of the Outlying fell High Knott. Now I'm not usually a fan of organised walks but there is a really joy to getting out on one of these Society's trips as the banter is usually excellent and for some reson we usually end up in a pub!

AGM

The AGM followed with an interesting talk about the work of the Mountasin Rescue Service and an appropriate cheque presentation. To read more about the Wainwright Society's fund-raising efforts click here.

High Knott

There followed a gathering in the local hostelry to discuss important issues (not really, just a time to catch up with other members!) All in all another great day with The Wainwright Society.
